I like the texture of the shading. : ) You might think of adding a bit of contrast to it--I think that could look nice. His glasses also seem a bit big, and his right lens (viewer's left) is a bit oblong. Very nice likeness of him, though! Great detail, especially the clothing.

Yeah, some darker shading...some more midtones so thee highlights stick out a bit more. Or for a quick, cheap contrast, stick it in a graphics program and up the contrast. : )

This is much more what I imagined Harry to look like than Dan. Dan is okay for the movies but my book-Harry will always be closer to this. I always imagined his glasses a little smaller but generally, this is my Harry.

I agree with you that in the movies Dan as Harry quite OK, however my book-Harry is also different. I imagine him in each fanfics even a bit different depending on the author's description I quite like to imagine him with longish hair for example

If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went. - Will Rogers, 1897-1935
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
